Autor Guesthouse - Vila do Conde

Just an excellent fit for a city escape in Vila do Conde with excellent value for money. The breakfast was a surprise delight, with a cozy atmosphere and delicious coffee. Make sure you get the access code for entry ahead of time.

Facilities were newly renovated, nonetheless Wi-Fi was very poor.

I had a very nice stay with a breakfast included and loved the location, it was good and absolutely perfect to the harbour area which has nice restaurants. The check in was easy, the staff was very amiable. The breakfast was excellent and included. Everything was simply nice: )

Positive, The room was amazing! I loved the cute design and comfortable bed. The breakfast was a highlight, especially enjoying it with a lovely garden view. I really appreciated the quality linens and spacious feel of the suite.

The rooms were airy with shared bathroom and had all necessary facilities. The hotel was in a favourable location so close to the riverside, and the great restaurants along the river...

The Suite Garden View offered an inviting atmosphere with ample natural light streaming through the windows.

We encountered a frustrating situation at check-in where the access code for the apartment was not provided in advance, causing unnecessary stress and confusion as we tried to get inside.

Hotel entry posed a challenge since the access code for the apartment wasn't sent beforehand, which led to some panic. Once I got inside, everything turned positive. My room had a charming design, was spacious, and boasted very nice natural light. The bathroom had a fantastic shower, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight, with a lovely selection, especially the fresh coffee, and it offered a good view of the garden. The check-in area felt cluttered like an unkempt store rather than a reception. It gave a confusing first impression. The atmosphere could benefit from better organization and clearer signage for navigating the hotel. It's a pretty well-designed hotel with its quirks.

If you opt for the internal view room, prepare for a view of the office!!! The air conditioning didn't work, and the garden hours? Close at 4 PM!!! Suggest extending those hours!!!

The check-in was quite confusing, especially when i didn't get the room with the balcony that was promised. How can you overlook something so basic? Lumbering through an architecture firm to access my room was just bizarre. I expected complimentary water bottles at least. So close to a good review, but just couldn't, sadly.

Really enjoyed our stay! The enclosed balcony was perfect for soaking up the sun, and the coffee machine made mornings way better. Just keep in mind, the room felt cramped with limited outlets and the air conditioning didn't work, a bummer.

Charming space blending modern design with functional amenities. Breakfast was delicious, with amazing coffee, a treat for the senses!

Location can be tricky to navigate due to its unique integration with a furniture and co-working space, which may be disorienting.

Staying at autor guesthouse was a pleasant surprise. The penthouse is right in the center. We loved the lounge and kitchen facilities, and breakfast at the café was good with great coffee.

Great Spot, Slight Entry Confusion

The Suite with inside view offered a cozy ambiance, but we faced a hiccup with entry instructions. Ensure you get the access code beforehand or set up your mobile for data. Once inside, the amenities were good for our family getaway!
